Removing People or Objects From Photos

For this photo retouching of a picture taken with a digital camera, the person's head in the foreground was first removed. Then, the legs of the guitar player on the left were reconstructed by swapping the legs of the other player.  Swapping is the technique of "borrowing" from photos and is often used when there are two photos merged together to make one good photo.  In this example the two guitar players are of the same size, so it was not difficult to swap or borrow the legs of one of them to use as a replacement for the other.  The red curtain was replaced where necessary, and the photo was then sharpened for a clearer image.
