Special Effects and Creative Techniques
With a little imagination, this kind of retouching technique can be added to almost any photo. This is a picture of a visit to the pumpkin patch and is already a nice photo. The picture just needed some enhancement and a special technique added to make it special before it was placed in a scrapbook. The extra people in the background were removed first. Then one of the pumpkins was enlarged and moved to the corner of the photo. After the opacity was lowered a little to make the pumpkin slightly transparent, beveled and colored text was added to identify and date the event. The text on the pumpkin is a creative way of labeling the picture for scrapbooking. The picture was then sharpened to enhance the colors.
