Photo Restoration
This Before picture of Josie is very dark and worn. It was lovingly carried in the wallet of this beautiful lady's husband for approximately 50 years. First the photo needed to be lightened to bring out the detail. Then the tear through her right eye was repaired, her left ear was reconstructed, and the earring put back in place. Some of the beads of her necklace also had to be repaired. The printed pattern of her dress was replaced where scratches and tears were removed. So that her hairstyle would not be disturbed, the background was not replaced - only smoothed out. This was a very tedious restoration, because almost every pixel of this old worn photo was affected by the many nicks, tears, and scratches. Now instead of one photo tucked away in a wallet, there are several photos for all of Josie's family to enjoy.
